Why not ask your friends to donate to The People Hive, instead of them spending their money on a card and present for your birthday/ anniversary?
Make a (one-off) donation to The People Hive today – every penny counts in the life of a local person with a learning disability.
A Single Donation
If you would like to make a one-off donation, you can do so online (see link below) or by sending a cheque or postal order made payable to ‘The People Hive’, to the address at the foot of the page.
As long as you include your name and address, we will send out a letter of thanks to confirm receipt of your generous gift.
A Regular Donation
You might prefer to make a regular monthly donation which you can do through your bank with a standing order.

Make your donation to ‘The People Hive’ go further with Gift Aid
You might be able to help us stretch your donation even further…
The People Hive can claim back the basic rate of tax on any donations received from UK taxpayers. Every £1 you donate will be worth £1.25 to The People Hive.
In order to qualify for Gift Aid:
- You must be a UK taxpayer
- You must have paid enough UK Income or Capital Gains Tax to cover ALL of the donations you make to Charities within a tax year

A Legacy in Your Will
You can give people with learning disabilities a brighter future with a gift in your Will.
Wills help you to protect your family’s future whilst they also provide you with an opportunity to support a cause close to your heart.
Including a gift to The People Hive in your Will, once you have first taken care of your loved ones, is one of the most lasting and inspirational ways you can support people with learning disabilities. Not only do you give them the support they need to live their lives more independently, . . . but It’s a gift that will cost you nothing during your lifetime … but a gift in your Will can help to ensure our work continues long into the future. You don’t have to be wealthy to leave a gift to us in your Will. Every gift, no matter what size, is welcome and will help to make a significant difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities for years to come.
