Volunteer
We rely on our brilliant volunteers who give their time to help our charity in so many ways. Give a little time to The People Hive and make a big difference to the life of a local person with a learning disability. Help us transform the lives of local people living with a learning disability by becoming a volunteer – we offer so many different opportunities that there really is something for everyone!
Become a trustee
Ideally, there should be regular turnover of trustees so as to ensure refreshment of ideas and working practices on the trustee board. As such, we are always on the look-out for people interested in becoming a trustee and able to bring their own expertise and experience to the charity.
Become a Member
Many of our Members are also Volunteers helping with the work done by the Charity and most of our Volunteers are also Members. Most, if not all, Staff, Trustees and Clients are also Members.
As a Member, you have a say in the management of the Charity and have a vote at any General Meeting of the Charity; in particular at the Annual General Meeting at which a report of the activities of the Charity during the past year is made available for discussion are are the intentions for the forthcoming year.
