Funding
We are proudly non-profit and non-corporate. We do not receive any government or local authority funding for the work we do; instead we rely on funding from our generous community and other charities, now more than ever. If you are looking to support adults with learning disabilities, please consider funding for our charity, what we do makes a real difference.
The Work experience and trips have helped to increase my confidence, meet new people and make new friends, and overcome obstacles. I also have learned new skills such as time management, being punctual and now know that it’s okay to fail and try again. I have also become more independent and learned to be more healthy. I would recommend anyone to come and try out The People Hive’s Work Experience, activities and trips. The People Hive have fun and friendly staff and are very supportive and honest.
