Volunteering at The People Hive is an inspiring and rewarding experience. This opportunity provided me with many benefits, which I can take away and apply in the future. The organisation consists of people with fantastic qualities who have a real drive to carry out the work that they do in the most effective way possible and make a major difference to those within the community.

The work that I carried out always brought new and interesting challenges and with this I learnt many new skills. My tasks were varied from office and admin roles, to working in the shop, as well as supporting those with learning disabilities. Each task brought new knowledge and in particular dealing with The People Hive clients was personally enriching and inspirational.

Throughout my time with The People Hive, I saw how hard the employees work and how passionate they are about their job and serving the community. All staff members were friendly, helpful and a pleasure to work alongside. I learnt a lot from how they dealt with situations and people and found their professionalism and enthusiasm particularly motivating.

Overall I found The People Hive to be a fantastic organisation and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I look forward to seeing their new venture, The People Hive, thrive in Twickenham High Street for years to come!
