Susie met up with George and his mum Cynthia and they managed to find a café near Twickenham Green (Coffee Days) which was empty so they actually went in and had a coffee! Felt like a real treat.
George and Cynthia are wishing they could do the things they used to do and are missing being able to meet up with friends, and especially the Drop-in at the People Hive! Cynthia has a half-done jigsaw which we have put away and she is really keen to finish it! They have had to be very careful as a member of their family is shielding but they seem to have managed this really well. They are going out a bit and have been on buses but generally are staying close to home.
George has been doing Zoom sessions with RHACC and is hoping that in September he will be able to go back. If he can’t he says he will carry on doing on-line sessions but it is nicer to be with real people.
