On a blustery day earlier this week The People Hive held a Nature Walk in the Woodland Gardens in Bushy Park. We were all very happy that this activity was going ahead because the weather at the weekend was very bad and we thought we might have to cancel our Nature Walk. Our group included Robert, Sarah, James, Carol, Susie, Helen and James’s PA. We also made the most of being together because in a few days time we would be entering another national lockdown.
Sarah came up with a lovely idea, saying “If you can’t hug a person, hug a tree!” – and as you can see, some of us did!
We spent our time collecting twigs and leaves and making the first letter of our name with what we could find – this wasn’t as easy as it sounds as it was very windy!
We are all looking forward to when we can next meet up, hopefully at the beginning of December.
